Installation Guide

Before you install

  • Install only when the surface temperature is above 50°F (10°C).
  • Not recommended for textured or porous surfaces.

Steps

  1. Clean and dry the surface thoroughly. Remove wax, dirt, and moisture.
  2. Test fit the emblem before removing the red film backing.
  3. Peel and apply. Peel off the red film backing, avoid touching the adhesive, then press the emblem firmly for 30–60 seconds.
  4. Wait 24 hours before washing the vehicle.

Tip: If the red film backing is hard to peel

Carefully nick the edge of the film (between the red film and white adhesive) with a plastic tool or blade, then peel the red film back slowly. 

    Safe Removal Guide

    These emblems use strong automotive-grade adhesive.

    1. Warm the emblem and surrounding area with a hair dryer on low heat. Do not overheat the paint.
    2. Lift one edge slowly with a plastic trim tool. Do not use a metal blade.
    3. Pull the emblem back at a low angle, not straight up.
    4. Remove leftover adhesive with a quality automotive adhesive remover.
    5. Wash and wax the area when finished.

    Notice: Removal may damage some painted or coated surfaces depending on condition and installation method. Mason Square Market is not responsible for damage resulting from installation or removal.

    FAQs

    Will it stay on in rain and car washes?
    Yes. Once fully set (24 hours), it is designed to handle rain, sun, and normal hand car washes. Do not run through automated car washes.

    Can I put it on a textured bumper?
    No. It works best on smooth, clean painted or metal or glass surfaces.

    How long should I wait before washing?
    24 hours.

    What if I need to move it after I stick it?
    Do not. Test fit first. Once the adhesive touches the surface, it is meant to stay.

    Will removal hurt my paint?
    It can, especially on older, freshly painted, or poorly bonded paint. Follow the safe removal steps above.

    Is this a custom school or lodge design?
    The sample shows quality and finish. Custom versions are made to your artwork after you approve the design and quantity.
